Set to be an action-packed end to the trilogy, the film promises to both satisfy fans of Middle Earth and bridge the gap between The Hobbit and Jackson’s previously series of films: The Lord of the Rings (2001-2003). Orlando Bloom, Cate Blanchett, Luke Evans, Evangeline Lilly, Hugo Weaving and Christopher Lee round out the cast.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies arrives in cinemas on 12th December 2014.
